I heard the next Tiki Oasis event in August 2011 is themed "South of the Border" - wouldn't it be great if you could play that!?!

Cool music, a real treat to listen to and enjoy. Nice tunes for a summer's night. Very distinctive and different....enjoyable sounds.

Hi guys, I contacted you a couple of years ago and had hoped to get to one of your concerts in Virginia but just haven’t traveled that way---I live in San Diego. You sent me a complimentary t-shirt at that time and I get some nice comments on it…thanks. I was listening to my TJB music on my iPod this morning on the way to work and passed the Del Mar Race Track, site of the San Diego County Fair each year. That got me thinking that your group would be ideal for performing at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar…it starts June 11 and runs to the July 4 holiday. Being so close to the Mexican border, your music would be a perfect fit. I have no idea whether there is still opportunity to try to get on the entertainment list but you could check them out on the web and see. If you were to appear at the fair, I’d probably be at every show. If you have any appearances scheduled somewhere, please let me know, especially if you ever get to Southern California…the drive would be well worth coming to hear great music. Thanks.

I'm a long time fan of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass and am an instant fan of this fine tribute band Black Sombrero Brass! Nice arrangements/recreations of the classic TJB hits. I'm confident that the young people will get hip to this cool music, and they'll want to see & hear Black Sombrero Brass playing live. You cats are the coolest!

Gentlemen, you have a great sound! I bet Herb Alpert, John Pisano, and all the gang feel honored by your careful treatment of their great work. Clearly you are all talented musicians, and I was impressed with your new CD.

Love the music. Is there any spots where I can buy the music electronically via iTunes or elsewhere?
